Speech by Sun Zhiyang, Head of Distributed PV Business in Module Marketing

at Tongwei Co., Ltd.'s PV Business Department

Sun Zhiyang, Head of Distributed PV Business in Module Marketing at Tongwei Co., Ltd.'s PV Business Department, stated that the high efficiency, high reliability, and superior attenuation control of PV modules form the foundation for the long-term profitability of power stations. Only stable high-yield products can deliver greater value to customers, thereby more precisely meeting market demands. Tongwei consistently drives performance evolution through technological innovation. The TNC 2.0 product represents a milestone achievement from Tongwei's deep technical expertise and iterative upgrades.

Market analysis of distributed PV

Qu Saisai, Senior Market Analyst at Tongwei Co., Ltd.'s PV Business Department, highlighted in Distributed Market Trends Under China's Energy Transition that China's policies promote PV consumption, encourage distributed PV to engage in electricity market trading, and implement renewable energy substitution initiatives. At the regional level, multiple provinces are exploring projects like direct green electricity supply and zero-carbon industrial parks to advance the energy transition. With the full marketization of electricity, the consumption of new energy power and the green, low-carbon transition have become dual priorities for both policy and market. PV plant profitability will become more transparent, while modules—as the core power generation component—will see their high-efficiency and high-yield advantages further amplified.

Decoding TNC 2.0's performance evolution

He Song, Senior Technical Engineer for Module Marketing Support at Tongwei Co., Ltd.'s PV Business Department, used the event venue Chateau Changyu as a case study: If TNC 2.0 modules are fully adopted, the power stations with original installed capacity of 800kW and 2MW can increase their capacity by 117kW and 65kW, respectively, under the same area, bringing a 14.6% and 3.2% increase in power generation, realizing a double increase in installed capacity and power generation.

Keynote speech by Wang Shujuan, Founder of Zhihui PV

Wang Shujuan, Founder of Zhihui PV, noted that future distributed PV projects will closely align with load requirements. Pre-implementation assessments must evaluate enterprise creditworthiness and long-term electricity stability. During operation, the comprehensive electricity price for self-use portions will dynamically adjust with the grid's peak and valley periods, while feed-in tariffs will be subject to market trading prices. To mitigate future uncertainties, a more stable investment strategy involves reducing initial investment and shortening the payback period while ensuring the quality of distributed PV projects.
