Recently, Tongwei formally signed a strategic framework agreement with ACO, IRSC, and Sungrow. The four parties plan to construct a solar PV project with a total installed capacity of 75MW in Egypt. This agreement aims to further consolidate cooperation foundations, support Egypt in achieving its "Vision 2030," and accelerate its green transformation towards a clean energy system.

This year marks the second anniversary of Tongwei's collaboration with ACO in Egypt. As early as 2024, both parties signed their first framework cooperation agreement, initiating green exploration in the Middle East and North Africa region. In 2025, Tongwei and ACO not only continued consolidating achievements in Middle Eastern and West African markets but also expanded cooperation to East Africa. This expansion signifies deepening collaboration evolving from regional deployment to comprehensive advancement.

As a core technology provider, Tongwei will supply high-efficiency and reliable solar modules for the project, supporting Egypt's green energy infrastructure upgrade with leading manufacturing capabilities. ACO, as the local system integrator of the project, will facilitate efficient project implementation by coordinating resources from all parties to build a future-oriented clean energy demonstration project.

Aya Zanaty, CEO of ACO, stated this agreement represents "a new starting point for Egypt's clean energy development". She emphasized, "This pact not only demonstrates professional competencies but also reflects our shared commitment to advancing sustainable social development. The highly replicable model of the project provides practical reference for Egypt's industrial green transformation while establishing new heights for long-term cooperation."

At the signing ceremony, Zhang Hanwen, Head of Module Marketing for Middle East & North Africa at the PV Business Department of Tongwei Co., Ltd., remarked, "Egypt serves as a crucial milestone in Tongwei's global expansion. From our initial collaboration in 2024 to entering the second phase this year, and further extending across Africa, Tongwei remains dedicated to bringing advanced PV technologies to sun-rich regions.
