Recently, Tongwei Co., Ltd. took part in the 2024 UN Global Compact (UNGC) Accelerator Program Annual Meeting and Graduation Ceremony and successfully concluded the UNGC Climate Ambition Accelerator Project. This accomplishment follows Tongwei's completion of the Target Gender Equality (TGE) Accelerator, signifying the company's second engagement in UNGC's enterprise capacity development programs. The Climate Ambition Accelerator (CAA) is among the UNGC's capacity development programs tailored for member companies, being implemented across 55 countries globally. Its objectives are three-fold: to equip businesses with in-depth training on climate change, to assist in formulating scientifically grounded emission reduction targets and strategies, and to disseminate best practices for cross-industry climate risk management.
