On January 22nd, “2009 Finance China Annual Meeting” was held in JW Marriott Hotel in Beijing. Tongwei Co., Ltd was one of the five enterprises nominated “2009 Annual Pioneer in Post-disaster Reconstruction” and won the award “Annual Star Enterprise in Post-earthquake Reconstruction”.

Enterprises including Tongwei and Dongfang Electric won this award, which is newly added into the journalism prizes. Experts said that these 5 enterprises tide over the earthquake by production to reduce the losses, which has important meaning to the economic construction and the recovery of social order in the disaster-hit area. Meanwhile it manifests the social responsibility of the enterprises and the ability to overcome the difficulties.
