May, 12, Tongwei held an ‘EQ wisdom’ themed case study salon. Standing committee member of the CPPCC, board chairman of Tongwei Group Mr. Liu Hanyuan made a keynote speech on the management requirements of Three Decisions during modern corporate operation and management: efficiency determines benefits; details determine success; speed determines life. Mr. Liu said, the Three Decisions will become the common consensus of every staff and management member, and will become the focus and the core of future work and reform, as well as the top priority of the management.
Mr. Liu brought forth requests that every member of the company needs to consider every work detail from the perspective of giving priority to efficiency. It is crucial to be clear minded that a 3-minute decision cannot be postponed to 5 minutes. What needs to be done, by what methods, or with what resources, we need to know with high efficiency. Otherwise, we would lose a lot of energy and opportunities.
Management is an art. We cannot sacrifice development efficiency during management. To any enterprise, any management, any employer, it is a taboo not to realize what the focus is, what the primary and secondary are.
Mr. Liu emphasized that when the sales peak is approaching, actions must be taken immediately from management headquarters to subsidiaries, from market line to every other line. Neither confusion nor hesitation is allowed. Each person needs to understand that market is the battlefield, and efficiency is life. Almost all the things in the world follow the principle of “2:8” – to an enterprise, 80% of the income may come from 20% of its products or business activities. It might also be the case that 80% of its products or operation effort only yields 20% profit. What are we supposed to do then? Undoubtedly, the 20% things that can bring 80% profit return are mostly the important and transient ones.
Lastly, Mr. Liu pointed out, long-term normalization and mechanism is the main reason of Tongwei’s success in the sector during the past 30 years. Facing the increasingly fierce competition, each member of Tongwei needs to seriously consider how to work with efficiency, responsibility and challenges.
