On August 6^th, Mr. Kevin Michael Rudd, Former Prime Minister of Australia and President of the American Asia Society Policy Research Institute, visited Tongwei Group. Mr. Liu Hanyuan, Standing Committee Member of the 11th CPPCC, Deputy to the National People’s Congress, Board Chairman of Tongwei Group, Mrs. Zhuo Yujiao, President of Tongwei Group, and Mr. Huang Qigang, Vice President of Tongwei Group warmly received and communicated.

Mr. Kevin Rudd visited Tongwei Group experience center to learn more about Tongwei 36 years of development and achievements. Referring to Tongwei innovative development model - fisheries & PV integration, Mr. Kevin Rudd praised Tongwei as an admirable company.

 

During the communication meeting, Mr. Rudd said that Tongwei achievements in the field of new energy were remarkable in China and around the world, and had made outstanding contributions to the improvement of global environmental problems.

 

At the end of the communication meeting, President Liu Hanyuan gave Mr. Rudd his warm welcome and sincere wishes, and also gave a gift to Mr. Rudd – the Sun Bird, which is a Chinese cultural heritage and the city image of Chengdu.
