From August 7 to 17

The 12th World Games were held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province

featuring 3,942 athletes

from 116 countries and regions

This World Games boasts the broadest range of events

and the highest number of participants

Currently, competitions are in full swing

with athletes from around the globe competing

enjoying this globally celebrated sporting event

In another arena of new energy

Chinese photovoltaic (PV) technology provides the world with

over 80% of PV modules

In 2024, China's PV module exports reached a new high

According to InfoLink Consulting data

China's PV products

have exceeded RMB 200 billion in exports for four consecutive years

Among them, Tongwei modules, with their "innovative DNA"

are integrated into the global energy landscape

In June this year

global shipments reached 100GW

ranking among global top five for three consecutive years

As of now

they have covered over 70 countries and regions worldwide

significantly enriching the global green supply

and supporting energy transition worldwide

Tongwei modules

Netherlands

On July 4, 2024

the Tongwei-supplied ground-mounted PV power station project in Doster, Netherlands

was completed

This project is notable for being the first in Europe to utilize N-type 210 large-size modules

All modules used are Tongweis' TNC-G12 66 modules

The total installed capacity of the project is 13.62MW

Upon completion

it is estimated to generate

11.92 million kWh of electricity annually

capable of meeting the annual electricity consumption of

7,060 local households

while reducing CO₂ emissions by

11,200 tons

accelerating regional transition toward cleaner, sustainable energy structure

Brazil

Tongwei continues deepening Brazilian market presence

committed to advancing local sustainable energy applications

Through close collaboration with Hexing Electrical

4,704 Tongwei modules

were successfully deployed in Umuarama, Paraná, southern Brazil

writing a story of chasing the light

This centralized PV plant boasts 2.6MW total capacity

spanning 31,000 square meters

It was connected to the grid in April 2024

annually providing

Companhia Paranaense deEnergia (Copel)

with approximately 3.6062 million kWh of clean electricity

accounting for one-third of the electricity consumption of Copel's distribution subsidiary

Equivalent to saving BRL 830,000 annually

Croatia

In Dugopolje

there is a 13.56MW ground-mounted power station

which marks Tongwei's first PV project in Croatia

24,000 Tongwei dual-glass modules

have covered 200,000 square meters of sunlit highlands

carrying the mission and dream of "PV Changing the World"

and lighting the way toward sustainable development

Tongwei TNC dual-glass bifacial modules

operate steadily with continuous power generation

This power station is projected to annually produce

17.2 million kWh of clean energy

illuminating the lives of 6,000 households

Romania

In the village of Glodeni, Romania

Tongwei, in collaboration with DRI, the European strategic branch of the DKET Group

developed the Glodeni II benchmark PV project

co-writing a new chapter in green development

Empowered by Tongwei's high-efficiency modules

the Glodeni II project delivers 60MW of clean electricity

with annual power generation reaching

864 million kilowatt-hours

reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately

21,800 tons

Equivalent to the ecological contribution of

360,000 trees

From the World Games to the global PV landscape

China's commitment to sustainable development shines clear

Tongwei high-efficiency modules

can harness solar energy across every inch of land

Under the same sun

the sweat of athletes and the glimmer of clean energy

are jointly composing the concerto of humanity's brighter future
