Gov. Official Gave Full Approval to Chairman Liu’s Proposals

February, 17, Sichuan government officials and over 60 Sichuan private enterprise representatives gathered together to discuss the issue of private enterprise development. Board Chairman of Tongwei Group, Mr. Liu Hanyuan attended the meeting by invitation. His proposals at the meeting were highly appreciated by the officials and entrepreneurs at present. Mr. Liu emphasized the issue on agriculture industrialization problems. He suggested the government provide positive guidance to dispersed manufacturing, strengthen food safety regulation, provide technical support and improve safeguard mechanism. Furthermore, Mr. Liu also made suggestions on constructing and developing a “silicon industry belt”. Sichuan has advantages in water resource, electric power and human resources, Mr, Liu said, government and enterprises should reach a consensus on developing an effective mechanism for an advantageous industry and its enterprise cluster. By this means, the competitiveness of Sichuan in domestic and international arena can be strengthened.
