Tongwei ranks on the List of 2023 Forbes China 50 Most Innovative Companies

From November 8 to 9, the 2023 Forbes China International Investment Summit for Innovative Enterprises was held in Hangzhou. At the Summit, the List of 2023 Forbes China 50 Most Innovative Companies was released and Tongwei ranked on the List with strong innovation capabilities.

According to Forbes, based on the industry distribution of the 50 Innovative Companies this year, companies involved in the electric vehicle industry chain have continued their advantages, with a total of eight on the list this year. The number of companies involved in the PV sector and included in the list has reduced by three compared to last year. However, the R&D pace has not been disrupted and it can be seen from the "Technological Innovation Map of New Energy" launched simultaneously with the List that the number of new patents of top PV companies is still increasing.

Tongwei always prioritizes technological innovation in enterprise development, and technology R&D is anchored on the industry. There are over 600 senior researchers and technicians in the Tongwei PV Technology Center. TW Solar boasts technologies such as TOPCon, HJT, XBC, and perovskite/c-Si tandem solar cells, and each technology direction is matched with complete R&D facilities such as test lines and laboratories.

Tongwei's intelligent manufacturing line of high-efficiency modules

On the day when the List of was released, upon a test by authoritative certification agency TÜV SÜD, the front power of the Tongwei THC module reached 745.62W based on the standard size of 210-66 Type, breaking the HJT module power record for the fifth time this year. Moreover, the front conversion efficiency of the module reached 24.0%, indicating that the conversion efficiency of the HJT module achieved this level for the first time.
