On October 16, Tan Sri William Cheng Heng Jem, Executive Chairman of The Lion Group, Malaysia, Liu Yiqin, Chairman of Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, Yang Dong, Vice Chairman of Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, Yu Wenbin, Second-tier Counselor of Sichuan Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation and Secretary General of Sichuan Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, and their delegation visited Tongwei Group and were warmly received by Zhuo Yujiao, President of Tongwei Group, and Hu Rongzhu, Vice President of Tongwei Group.

Tan Sri William Cheng Heng Jem and his delegation visited the Group's Experience Center, learned details about the 41-year development history and dual-green development layout of Tongwei Group, and highly appreciated Tongwei's achievements in adhering to the real economy, practicing the concept of green development and the advanced level of intelligent manufacturing.

The two sides had profound exchanges on technological innovation, overseas market expansion, investment cooperation, and other aspects at the symposium. Chairman Liu Yiqin said that Malaysia has a high recognition of cultural identity since it has a large number of Chinese and close ties with China.
