InfoLink's Solar Cell Shipment Ranking for the First Half of 2023 is released, with Tongwei consistently ranking first globally

On August 28, InfoLink's Solar Cell Shipment Ranking for the First Half of 2023 was released and Tongwei's solar cell shipment still ranks first on the ranking.

According to InfoLink's research, in the first half of 2023, the manufacturers of the top two solar cell shipments are still Tongwei Co., Ltd. and AIKO, SolarSpace rises to third place, and RUNERGY and Jietai Solar rank fourth and fifth. It is observed that the manufacturers on the list remain unchanged from last year. The total shipment of the top five solar cell manufacturers in the first half of this year is nearly 84.4GW, an increase of nearly 49% compared to the first half of last year, and also accounts for 72% of the annual shipment of the top five manufacturers last year.

According to InfoLink's statistics, the shipment of PERC cells is 73.2GW in the first half of this year and PERC is still the main increment. The shipment of TOPCon cells starts to increase, while the overall increase speed is relatively slow. The total shipment of the top five manufacturers is about 10.5GW. HJT and back-contact cells are mainly produced for self-use by manufacturers, so the shipment is still small. Polycrystalline silicon solar cells still have a small market share in the first half of the year and the terminal products are mainly consumed in overseas regions such as India and Türkiye.
