RMB 201.376 billion! Tongwei's brand value hit a record high, and continued to rank first in the world's aquaculture and PV sectors
On the afternoon of June 15, the (20th) "World Brand Summit" hosted by the World Brand Lab was grandly held in Beijing. The Summit released the list of China‘s 500 Most Valuable Brands in 2023. Tongwei's brand value hit a record high, reaching RMB 201.376 billion, rising from 50th last year to 42nd, continuing to rank first in the world's aquaculture and PV sectors. Tongwei has been ranked as the Chinese brand with the highest degree of international credibility & recognition, authority and reference for 20 consecutive years, constantly refreshing historical records and letting the world see the power of China's PV brand.
As an "ivy" in the global brand field, the World Brand Lab, enjoying a high reputation, is one of the world's three major brand value evaluation institutions, with experts and consultants from world-class universities such as Harvard University, Yale University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Columbia University, Oxford University, Cambridge University and INSEAD, and its research results have become an important basis for the evaluation of intangible assets of many enterprises.
The total value of China's 500 Most Valuable Brands in 2023 is RMB 34.331181 trillion, an increase of RMB 3.358374 trillion or 10.84% over last year. In 2023, Tongwei's brand value hit a record high, reaching RMB 201.376 billion, rising from 50th last year to 42nd, and the brand value increased by RMB 40.318 billion over last year, an increase of 25%. Tongwei ranked among the top three most valuable brands of Sichuan enterprises together with Wuliangye and Changhong, continuing to maintain the leading edge of the highest brand value in the world's aquaculture and PV sectors.

This is the 20th year of the World Brand Lab's China Brand Report. In 2004, the threshold for inclusion in the list was only RMB 500 million, and the average value of the top 500 brands was RMB 4.943 billion. In 2023, the threshold for inclusion was raised to RMB 3.527 billion, and the average value of the top 500 brands was as high as RMB 68.662 billion, an increase of 1,289.08%. The brand value of Tongwei has increased from RMB 1.9 billion in 2004 to RMB 201.376 billion this year, an increase of 100 times, constantly refreshing historical records and becoming a typical case of the rise of Chinese brands.
