On February 7, the Signing Ceremony of Tongwei's 120,000-ton High-purity Crystalline Silicon Project was successfully held in Leshan. Mr. Ma Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee of Leshan, Mr. Liu Hanyuan, Deputy of the National People's Congress, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tongwei Group, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. In his speech, Secretary Ma Bo expressed sincere congratulations on behalf of the municipal party committee and government on the successful signing of the Project and gave heartfelt thanks to Tongwei for its long-standing outstanding contribution to economic and social development of Leshan City. He pointed out that Leshan City has firmly implemented the "No. 1 Project" in the crystalline silicon photovoltaic industry. So, the crystalline silicon photovoltaic industry has gathered momentum and been included in the provincial strategic emerging industries cluster and the provincial first batch of special advantageous industry pilot, and the high-purity crystalline silicon production capacity has entered the leading group in the world. The successful signing of this Project is a practical action to implement the decisions of central, provincial and municipal party committees to do an extraordinary job in economic construction this year. Furthermore, it is a new starting point for both sides to deepen cooperation and create a future and another symbolic project in the construction of China's Green Silicon Valley. We hope that Tongwei can always fight forward with Leshan City to accelerate the completion and production of this Project, increase its layout in Leshan, continuously extend, complement and strengthen its industrial chain, and jointly bring the crystalline silicon photovoltaic industry into a world-class leading "symbolic" industry, so as to make our due contribution to the overall development of the country and the province.
