On March 28, Huang Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of Sichuan Province, inspected the TW Solar Meishan Base. Chairman Liu Hanyuan introduced the development of Tongwei's green agriculture and green energy as well as the development of TW Solar Meishan Base, saying that Tongwei, as an enterprise originating from Meishan, is currently the second largest PV enterprise in the world in terms of market value and also the largest crystalline silicon battery manufacturer in the world. Thanks to the support of the leaders of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, Sichuan Provincial People's Government, the CPC Meishan Municipal Committee and Meishan Municipal People's Government, and Ganmei Industrial Park, the Meishan base project has created a miracle that it took less than three years to complete the signing of the project contract to achieve an output value of 10 billion yuan, making the enterprise the first in Meishan to achieve that goal.

The governor and his delegation also visited the battery production workshop at the TW Solar Meishan Base. Liu introduced how the production lines operated as well as the company's efforts in product quality and technological innovation.

Huang highly affirmed the development achievements that Tongwei had made in the field of new energy and stressed that the PV industry is a new industrial growth point for high-quality development in Sichuan Province. The governor said, departments at all levels should conscientiously do a good job in service, continuously optimize the investment environment and stimulate investment vitality in the spirit of reform and innovation, and support and promote the healthy development of the private economy with down-to-earth actions. The governor also expressed his hope that Tongwei will be able to seize the development opportunities of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and hold fast to the concept of green innovation and development so as to make its due contributions to the sustainable and healthy economic development of Sichuan Province.
