Chairman Liu Attended Business Leaders Forum

Organized by China Entrepreneur Club, the 3rd Annual Conference of China Green Companies was held in Chengdu on April 22 -23. Board Chairman of Tongwei Group, Mr. Liu Hanyuan was invited to the conference along with other 600 entrepreneurs from home and abroad. The forum focuses on topics of green value, green finance, green revenue, green technology and green real estate.

Mr. Li Chuncheng, Chengdu municipal party committee secretary, addressed the conference and made a retrospective view on Chengdu’s development after a decade of western region development. He made positive comments on Chengdu’s urban and rural development by promoting urban-rural integration. Now Chengdu has set the goal of positioning itself to be the world-class garden city. It will continue to provide investment opportunities from a higher standing point.

Mr. Liu Hanyuan also recalled Chengdu’s development path. He said, there are many green industries in Chengdu, and New Energy industry will become the largest rising industry in the next 30 to 50 years. Chengdu and Sichuan is also worth being interpreted from a green perspective. Chengdu is an important base for the national polysilicon production. Chengdu airport is also building the country’s new energy industry base and industrial park.

With these facilities, it is a thought-provoking issue that how to use the light resources around Chengdu, and really integrate future hydropower with the PV industry to meet the planning requirements of energy supplies to Chengdu as well as to the Eastern region. It is also worth considering how to build a complete green industry cluster, and further utilize this platform as an energy production supply of green, clean, low-carbon, or even zero carbon energy industry base.
