President Liu Presented “2010 Sichuan Entrepreneurs Festival”
On February 3rd, the 2010 Sichuan Entrepreneurs Festival was held by Sichuan Entrepreneur Magazine. Yang Zhiwen, deputy director of Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, Chen Cichang, vice chairman of Sichuan Provincial Political Consultative Conference and chairman of Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Zou Guangyan, director of Sichuan Enterprise Federation, Zhu Danfeng, vice director of Propaganda Department of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Xie Guangda, vice chairman of Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Li Houqiang, vice director of Policy Research Office of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee presented and made important speeches. Liu Hanyuan, Standing Committee member of CPPCC and board chairman of Tongwei Group as well as more than 100 famous entrepreneurs was invited.
As a famous Sichuan entrepreneur, President Liu pointed out that Sichuan entrepreneurs has a very important place in the history. Since the establishment of reform and opening-up policy, there are numerous Sichuan entrepreneurs and enterprises in different parts of China. As one of them I felt very proud. Meanwhile, President Liu discussed the experiences of Zhejiang entrepreneurs, Anhui entrepreneurs, and Fujian entrepreneurs with the other participants. “After 5.12 Earthquake, the construction of railways and highways pushes forward Sichuan’s economy. I hope we can keep our passion about our careers, promote more communication between the enterprises and government to make our enterprises develop better.” President Liu said.
As for the “Sichuan Entrepreneur Plan” promoted by Sichuan Provincial Government, President Liu said, “This topic is worthy of discussion. By means of encouraging and supporting the enterprises to get necessary resources under the market economy, they can be stronger in Sichuan, China and eventually they can develop to foreign market and have international influence.”
Referring to the 2 main industries of Tongwei, agriculture and new energy, President Liu said, “Tongwei Group is the biggest aquatic feed and the main livestock and poultry feed production enterprise and the private listed enterprises with the largest annual income in Sichuan, and we shall consider how to promote the healthy and sustained development of it. Besides, the sustained development of China’s new energy has very important meaning to Sichuan and China. Sichuan has its advantage in polycrystalline silicon resources. In the next few years, it will be the main industry in Sichuan. Tongwei will do her best to promote it in Sichuan Province.
In the conference, President Liu expressed his best wishes to Sichuan entrepreneurs in different part of China, “As a Sichuan entrepreneur, we shall be open minded and learn from Zhejiang and Fujian entrepreneurs to promote better development in China and the world. Year of the Tiger is coming, I hope everyone of us can do better in their entrepreneurs, and at the same time to provide the society with more job opportunities and more tax income so as to promote the economy.
