Tongwei Group Participated In “1+1”Activity to Help Youth In Poverty

　　In Dec. 2009, “1+1”activity to help youth in poverty was launched in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone to care the growth and development of youth in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone. At the call of Li Siqi, chairman of the labor union of Tongwei Group, 8 members of the labor union participated in the “1+1”activity to help 8 students selected from 50 excellent students in poverty.

　　Meanwhile, to improve volunteers’ service, volunteer association was founded in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone. The labor union of Tongwei Group took part in the association. It is known that the volunteer association was a non-profit organization to promote the spirit of “Devotion, Friendship, Mutual help, and Progress”, to provide a platform for collective participation of institutions, schools and enterprises, to find a way for enterprises to express their social responsibility and to promote standardized, sustained development of volunteer service.
