The 2nd Sichuan-Chongqing Economic Co-operation and Development Forum themed with “To build a Sichuan-Chongqing Economic Zone, and to create a new growth pole”, was held in Chengdu from Nov.26th to 27th. Chen Changzhi, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Chairman of Democratic National Construction Association Central Committee, Liu Qibao, Sichuan Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, Jiang Jufeng, Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Gu Shengzu, National People's Congress Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Democratic National Construction Association Central Committee, Ma Peihua, Democratic National Construction Association Central Executive Vice Chairman, Chen Xuanqing, deputy director of Department of Regional Economy， National Development and Reform Commission, Chen Wenhua, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Chairman of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee of Democratic National Construction Association, Lu Xiaozhong, Deputy director of Chongqing Municipal People's Congress, chairman of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee of Democratic National Construction Association, , Huang Xiaoxiang, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Tao Wuxiao, Chairman of Sichuan Provincial CPPCC and Yu Xuexin, Vice Chairman of Chongqing Municipal CPPCC presented the forum and made speeches. Mr. Liu Hanyuan, CPPCC Standing Committee member, director of Democratic National Construction Association Central Enterprises Committee and Board Chairman of Tongwei Group also presented the forum and made a passionate speech at the expert forum on the afternoon of 27th, pointing out that “ Tongwei will serve as the touchstone for Sichuan-Chongqing Economic Zone.”
