Tongwei Shows Strength at 10th WCIETF

The 10th Western China International Economy & Trade Fair (WCIETF) was held at the Century City International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chengdu on Friday. Premier Wen Jiabao addressed the opening ceremony. He said, “China will gradually increase the amount of treasury transfers to western regions and the government's determination on sticking with the develop-the-west strategy will not waver, so the policies towards the western development will remain unchanged.”

Tongwei has attended the Western China International economy and Trade Fair for nine years. This year, as one major exhibitor, Tongwei shows its strength by its top performing brands, Tongwei Fish, Gold Card Pork, Xin Taifeng Duck, as well as the Leshan New Energy Square by Tongwei’s subsidiary Yongxiang Polysilicon. As usual, it attracted a large number of guests as well as the media’s focus on Tongwei’s vision in building a world-class new energy enterprise.

　　It is reported that the total exhibition floor covers an area of 150,000 square meters and can accommodate 10,833 standard booths. Over 50,000 exhibitors and guests took part in the event, setting a new record.
