Tongwei Attended the United Nations Climate Change Conference

On November 6 (local time), the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (hereinafter referred to as COP27) of the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022 was opened in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt. About 40,000 people from more than 190 countries, regions, international organizations, and all walks of life attended the Conference. Tongwei attended COP27 and showed the world once again the strong development strength of China's leading PV enterprise.

Egypt, the host country of the Conference, put forward the slogan of "Together for Implementation", calling on countries to move from words to action and implement the Paris Agreement by taking concrete actions to address the climate emergency, including urgently reducing GHG emissions and slowing the rate of temperature rise as soon as possible and calling that developed countries should fulfilling their commitments to provide funding for climate actions in developing countries. China attaches great importance to tackling climate change. In the 20th National Congress of the CPC, General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that "We will actively and steadily promote carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Based on China's energy resources, we will further the energy revolution, accelerate the planning and development of a new energy system, and actively participate in global governance to address climate change." As the largest developing country, China has overcome its economic and social difficulties, said what it said, suited the action to the word, and continued to actively promote the low-carbon transformation of its industries under the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, fully demonstrating its responsibility and accountability for tackling global climate change.
