Tongwei on the List of 2021 "China's Top 500 Listed Companies by Market Value"

With the closure of the stock market in 2021, the List of 2021 "China's Top 500 Listed Companies by Market Value" is released. Tongwei Co., Ltd. ranks the 87th place of the list, up 19 places over 2020, and ranks top 5 among the 20 plus PV listed companies in this list. 

China's Top 500 Listed Companies by Market Value

As shown on the list, as of December 31, 2021, the total market value of the top 500 listed companies is about RMB 80 trillion, down slightly from RMB 86 trillion last year. However, the threshold for listing in the list (i.e. RMB 41.6 billion) is raised by RMB 3 billion over 2020, hitting a record high. Among them, there are 9 companies with a market value exceeding RMB 1 trillion, compared with 11 in 2020, though the number of companies with a market value of RMB 50 billion - RMB 200 billion increases obviously.

Under the "Dual Carbon" effect, the new energy sector has grown rapidly since 2020. Most of the PV listed companies (including the PV business) on the Top 500 List have realized a significant leap for their rankings. LONGi Green Energy Technology Co, Ltd., SUNGROW, China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., Ltd., Tongwei Co., Ltd., Trina Solar, JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin Zhonghuan Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Flat Group, FIRST Semiconductor, Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Daqo New Energy Co., Ltd., Lead Intelligent, CHINT and China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. have ranked top 200. Among them, there are four PV companies with a market value of more than RMB 200 billion, namely, LONGi Green Energy Technology Co, Ltd., SUNGROW, China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., Ltd. and Tongwei Co., Ltd.
