The Phase-I 50,000-Ton High-Purity Crystalline Silicon Project of Yunnan Tongwei Officially Put into Operation, Increasing the Total Output of Tongwei to 180,000 Tons!

On December 11, the Production Initiation Ceremony for the Phase-I 50,000-Ton High-Purity Crystalline Silicon Project of Yunnan Tongwei was organized as a success, marking that the project was officially and fully put into operation. At present, as an affiliate of Tongwei, Yongxiang Co., Ltd. has owned three production bases located in Baoshan of Yunnan, Baotou of Inner Mongolia and Leshan of Sichuan, respectively. As the phase-I 50,000-ton silicon project was put into operation in Yunnan, the high-purity crystalline silicon output of the company has grown to 180,000 tons, which would further rise to 330,000 tons after the phase-II project of Inner Mongolia Tongwei and the phase-I project of Yongxiang Energy Technology[1]  commence production in the near future.
